I first moved to Coventry to attend university, graduating with a degree in Disaster Management including business continuity management, logistics and emergency planning. I spent many years in administration and running my own childcare business before leaving work to stay home with my 3 children. 

My children have all attended the school and i currently have a son in Reception and a daughter in years 5. My eldest has recently graduated from Manor Park and I now provide a full time secondary education for her at home.  My husband currently teachers in Year 1 and I’m an active member of the PTA. When I’m not homeschooling or working on my Governor role you can usually find me baking and having coffee with friends. 

As you can see I’m very invested in the school and, as a parent Governor, I’m committed to seeing all future Manor Park students receive the best opportunities and education possible, staff feeling supported and developed and parents getting involved in the school community. School staff have an incredible opportunity to impact the lives of so many children and families and it’s really exciting to be a part of it. 

Having been elected Co-Chair of Governors with Becky Carr in 2022 I look forward to supporting the school staff and senior leadership team in strategic decisions that help to build the vision of the school. Becky and I are committed to a collaborative approach to governance, each bringing our individual strengths to the role and therefore maximising our impact.
